Thanks for visiting Seymour Elementary

On behalf of our community and the Seymour Elementary staff, welcome to our school family! Seymour Elementary, home of the Cyclones, is a pre-kindergarten through sixth grade building with approximately 240 students.  We pride ourselves on academic achievement, character education, community engagement, family involvement and student safety.

Like all Ralston Schools we offer a challenging academic program with curriculum in all core areas aligned with the Nebraska State Learning Standards. The faculty of Seymour, both highly qualified and extremely motivated, is truly committed to providing a positive climate of encouragement and support ensuring the academic success and personal well being of each child. Furthermore, our dedicated staff works tirelessly to engage our students, cultivate family participation and promote literacy as the key to the opportunities of life.

Considering the power and influence literacy has on our everyday lives, Seymour Elementary strives to make reading, writing, speaking and listening an integral aspect of each moment of a child’s day. We encourage and challenge you to make reading with your child a priority and help instill a love of literacy to last a lifetime.

Again, let me welcome you to Seymour Elementary.  If you have any questions/comments or I may be of any assistance to you and your family, please contact me at 402-331-0540 or by e-mail at brian_ferguson@ralstonschools.org
